Who are we?

Alliance20 members strongly support the NDIS, a world-class scheme that empowers people with disability to fully participate and thrive within our communities.

Alliance20 is about action and collaboration. From the start, we’ve worked closely with advocates, people with disability, government agencies, and the wider community to address challenges and shape practical solutions. We believe these relationships are essential in promoting supports and inclusion for people with disability.

What we do?

Our approach is straightforward—work together, stay focused, and create lasting change.

Our collective has grown alongside the evolving disability landscape. What started as a group of 16 committed organisations has now become a network of 25, each contributing their unique expertise and perspectives. We actively participate in critical conversations, make key submissions and partner with the National Disability Service (NDS), and Ability First Australia (AFA) as provider groups and alongside the NDIA, governments and others that influence disability policy.

Alliance20 remains focused on what matters most—listening to people with disability and understanding what they want from service providers. We reassess our priorities every year to ensure our work aligns with current needs and contributes to meaningful reform. We stay responsive, adaptive, and driven by our commitment to advancing equity and inclusion.

Collectively we support over 98,000 people and Alliance 20 is a clear voice for disability service providers, offering collaboration and working together to overcome challenges.

Alliance20 insights

We draw on our broad and deep nation-wide disability experience to develop and propose practical solutions based on rigorous best practice, consultation and the input of our clients and families.

How can we support the NDIS to succeed?

Provide practical solutions:
Drawing on our experience, Alliance20 can provide well-researched, practical solutions influenced by those with lived experience.

Implement solutions:
Alliance20 has the strength to implement solutions across Australia through our 25 member agencies to mobilise national support for reform, campaigns and research.

Advocacy:
Alliance20 is a strong voice for the people we support and disability service providers, advocating to improve the implementation of the NDIS, improve policy and shape practical solutions.

Our policy agenda

A range of critical issues need to be addressed to ensure the effective delivery of the NDIS. We will continue to advocate solutions to these issues and engage collaboratively to ensure that Australia has a successful Scheme and responsive disability services.
